The COVID-19 pandemic taught us many things, but in my mind, the most important lesson is that germs want to survive. It’s basic biology. Germs want to live and reproduce. And that is exactly the reason that viruses and bacteria become immune to antimicrobial cleaning solutions. It’s why “new and improved” cleaners are always being developed using “even stronger toxic chemicals.” And it’s why we must adopt the most efficient way to kill germs—not create more harmful chemicals.
My mission in life—and the mission of SoRite—is to provide safer cleaning products, equipment and protocols for the good of people, pets, plants and the environment. SoRite hospital disinfectant is an example of a product that is in line with this mission.
It is a Category 4 on the EPA toxicity scale for skin, oral ingestion and inhalation which is the lowest toxicity level possible (the same as water).
SoRite is also an oxidizer.
Oxidizing agents have the ability to accept an electron from the amino acids on the surfaces of the virus. The amino acid gives up an electron and the virus is oxidized (killed). In the case of bacteria, oxidizers alter amino acids in the cell wall, which causes it to rupture and the bacteria is killed.
It’s also a very fast kill.
I’ve said before, but it is worth repeating that how many bacteria you remove is as important as how fast you remove them.
Airborne Droplets
Also during the pandemic, we learned that Sars-CoV-2 could possibly linger in the air for hours, which is why many experts suggest wearing masks. We also know that measles, tuberculosis and other germs are transmitted through aerosol droplets which cause infection. This is another reason we take pride in our disinfectant’s unique capabilities.
SoRite includes components that dramatically decrease the size of its particles. This increases the ability of the active solution to spread on and penetrate both hard and porous surfaces. This also makes it effective against airborne pathogens by reducing droplet size through the use of sprayers and foggers.
SoRite also has a unique ability to significantly reduce allergen levels of the most common household allergy triggers: dust mites, cat dander and molds.
We hear it a lot, SoRite seems to good to be true. But alas SoRite does not kill everything. SoRite does not kill bed bugs. Workin’ on it!
